The Francophone Museum and AFSF are delighted and honored to be partnering with The American Friends of Lafayette and the Acalanes Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution to host the Lafayette traveling exhibit: &ldquo "La femme à bord porte malheur" ("A woman on board brings bad luck")... For centuries, this prevailing belief among sailors shaped a male-dominated profession, but little by little, women began to break through and claim th [CONFERENCE in French!] 🗣️
